2020 TJIMUR ARTS FESTIVAL
The Life of Arts and the Arts in Life
This is an arts platform for learning together and sharing. Based on the principles of "local connections", "enjoying life", and "giving and receiving", we have connected local cultures with industry chains. With the intention of enjoyment, people can experience various cultures. The event is designed with rich resources from various fields, including arts, ecology, agriculture, diets, and cultures, to create local aesthetics in Taiwan with the height of being international and the depth of being local. By actively sharing the ideals of creating the Arts Festival, we wish to inspire more people to join the new life movement in this age.
People of different backgrounds from different fields can meet, get to know each other, support each other, respect each other, and learn from each other in TJIMUR (a place: Timur Community). Here, everyone is an "interpreter of cultures", as well as a part of the community, growing and breathing together with the land.
In order to internationally and fertilize the theme of "Indigenous Contemporary Body Arts", indigenous artists from all over the world have joined the event. It is also expected that through such international exchanges, Taiwanese friends and tribal villagers will be able to see the world in the Timur village, and broaden their knowledge.
